Configuring Tests for the Microsoft SQL Integration Server

Once you successfully add the SSIS component, you will return to the Components page, where you can see the SSIS component you just added (see Figure 4).

To configure tests for the component, click on the button corresponding to that component. Figure 5 will then appear lists the pre-configured and unconfigured tests for the SSIS component you added.

To configure a test, select the test from the UNCONFIGURED TESTS list in Figure 5 and click the Configure button beneath. For instance, to configure the SQL Integration Messages test, select it from the UNCONFIGURED TESTS list and click Configure. Figure 6 will then appear.

To know how to configure the test, refer to the SQL Integration Messages Test topic. Once you configure the test, click on the Update button in Figure 6.

Clicking on Update will lead you back to the Specific Test Configuration page (see Figure 5), where you will find that a few more tests are still unconfigured. Once again, select a test from the UNCONFIGURED TESTS list and click the Configure button. For instance, if you choose the SQL Integration Pipeline test for configuration, Figure 7 will appear.

To know how to configure the test, refer to the SQL Integration Pipeline Test topic. Once you configure the test, click on the Update button.

This will take you back to the Specific Test Configuration page, where you will have to configure the Windows Processes and Windows Services tests. To know how to configure these tests, refer to the Monitoring Unix and Windows Servers topic.
